2010 Results:
Cold Front conditions and high winds made fly fishing difficult Saturday, but 22 contestants braved the weather in search of a Lake Fork Lunker.
Winners were:  Boater Division - 1st Lance Rogers & Alex Guthrie, 4 fish, 7lb.-9oz.; 2nd Clay and Sandi Roberts, 1 fish, 1lb.-7oz., 3rd Ty & Kyle Jones, 1 fish, 1lb.-3oz.  Big fish, Lance Rogers, 1lb.-7oz.  Casting Distance - Cody Bell, casting accuracy-Benson Fowler.  Several teams reported catching slot fish including ones weighing 6.5#, 7#, and 8# but all were under 24".  Everyone received a goody bag and a door prize.  Approximately 40 folks participated in the casting clinics and product demonstrations.  It was unanimous that we have the tournament again next year around the same time.  Thanks to all our sponsors, volunteers, and participants.

RODS, REEELS AND FLIES MUST BE MADE EXCLUSIVELY FOR FLY FISHING.  THIS IS A CATCH-WEIGH-RELEASE TOURNAMENT.  ENDORSED BY THE FEDERATION OF FLY FISHERS - SOUTHERN COUNCIL.

FISHING MAY BE FROM A BOAT, FLOAT TUBE, PONTOON, OR THE BANK.

CATEGORIES:  BOATER: TWO-MAN TEAM 5-FISH STRINGER; 
NON-BOATER: INDIVIDUAL BIG FISH;  OVERALL BIG FISH; CLUB TEAM TROPHY

COST:  $55/PERSON, includes $5 to big bass pot. Optional $5 big blue gill pot.

PAYOUT: 1-$1200, 2nd-$800, 3-$500, 4-$300, 5-$200, 6-10 $100.
Big Bass - $300, $200.  (Based on 100 entries.)

PLANNED ACTIVITIES:  FRIDAY - FREE CASTING CLINICS AT 10AM, 2 & 4PM, 6PM GUIDE JOHN TANNER LAKE REPORT, PRODUCT BOOTHS & DEMONSTRATIONS, CASTING CONTESTS FOR PRIZES; SATURDAY CASTING CLINICS AT 9 & 11AM, DRAWING FOR PRIZES AFTER WEIGH-IN.  BUY/TRADE/SELL YOUR EQUIPMENT.

REGISTRATION: BY MAIL To Bass on the Fly, P.O.Box 173, Yantis,TX 75497, must be received prior to April 30 and get FREE BASS FLY.  ON SITE Noon-9:00PM Friday or 5-6:00AM Saturday, cash only.  Check back for online registration.  

CHECK-IN:ALL CONTESTANTS MUST CHECK-IN AT THE TOURNAMENT SITE BEFORE 6:00am SATURDAY.
